Falkirk

Falkirk is a small area in the heart of the Central Belt of Scotland and takes in the towns of Bo'ness, Grangemouth, Stenhousemuir, Larbert, Denny and of course the town of Falkirk itself. Lying about 20 miles from both Edinburgh and Glasgow with good rail and road links it's a popular area for commuters. It has a rich industrial heritage which is still maintained by the giant petro-chemical complex at Grangemouth. Two of the most popular tourist attractions are also based around its industrial past - the amazing Falkirk Wheel which connects the Union and Forth & Clyde canals, and the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway line.
